In this play we find a picture that Abraham has bought, a completely white canvas that has cost him a lot of money. It is a painting created by one of the most prized and avant-garde artists of the moment. This is what Abraham explains to his friends. But the reality is that Alvaro only sees a blank canvas, completely and absurdly blank and Jesus who never gets wet tries to give the reason to the two.

This is the starting point of “BLANCO ON FONDO BLANCO”, a hilarious comedy that reflects on the world of art and the avant-garde, as well as the “culturetas”, “understood” and other “ghosts” that pass through our cities.

The controversy between the different positions of Abraham , Alvaro and Jesus regarding the painting puts even in danger the relationship of friendship that has been joining them for so many years. The two friends see how their principles and ideas can be destroyed by a totally alien subject.
