VIII Golden Age Painting and Drawing Contest

Directed to: Students from I.E.S. in the province of Almeria
Delivery of works: of 21 April-2 May 2025
Item: “Illustrative Characters of the Golden Age” (personal and original representation)

Awards:

  • 1st prize: 300 €

  • 2nd prize: 250 €

  • 3rd prize: 200 €

  • Local Accésit (Roquetas de Mar): 150 €
    (If a prize winner is from Roquetas, the accésit passes to the next best valued local resident)

Technical requirements:

  • Technical: Free

  • Size: 50x40 cm

  • Support: Paper, cardboard, canvas, digital print, etc. (max. 3mm thickness)

  • No frame and no sign

  • Maximum 2 works per participant

  • Delivery in closed envelope with author data and pseudonym abroad

Jury and criteria (max. 100 points):

  • Originality of character: 30 ptos

  • Creativity: 30 ptos

  • Technical quality: 20 ptos

  • Technical resources: 20 ptos
    Un appealing failure. You can leave desert prizes.

Conditions of participation:

  • Students enrolled in I.E.S. de Almería

  • Requires responsible declaration of parents/guardians if they are under 18

  • Works cannot have been awarded previously

  • Free subscription

Delivery of works:

House of Culture, Plaza Luis Martín s/n, 04740 Roquetas de Mar (Almería)
Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 14:00.
Postal shipment is also allowed to that address.
