Hiking: Turre - El Jalí.

This path enters the heart of Sierra Cabrera. The first section of the tour runs through a forest track that, in about 8 kilometers, leads us to the Jalí Cortijo. The rise is continuous, however, the conditions of the road allow to rise without further difficulties. During the ascent, the progressive rise in height will allow us to enjoy an increasingly spectacular panorama. We can see both the nearby places as Turre, Bédar, Garrucha, the beach of Macenas, with its fortress, as well as the most distant Sierra Almagrera, Sierra de los Filabres and even Sierra Nevada.

Once the rise is over, the beauty of the place well deserves the effort made. After enjoying the environment, from the Jalí Cortijo, we will begin the descent to the Rambla de Mofar that will take us back to the beginning. Throughout the course we can enjoy the typical almerian vegetation: palmito, albaida, spartum and many aromatic plants such as the purple thyme or the curly lavender. As a curiosity to say that in this area some scenes of the film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" were shot.
