Theatre: The Troyanas
Descripción
Information
The Troyanas are a tragedy of war; it is a spectacle of the consequences of a war through its most painful victims: women and children. The drama is concentrated in Troy, but this is also the drama of any war anywhere, because Troy is anywhere when the myth, ubiquitous, becomes history.
Euripides let the women of this war make visible their bodies broken down and audible their voices that move from despair to doubt and the increase against the hostile world around them, all with a special assembly carried out by the Students of the Municipal School of Theatre.
